Nice ‘n’ Naughty

Claiming to have changed the image of adult shops with the creation of their professional, licensed retail outlets, award-winning Nice ‘n’ Naughty have opened 10 stores across the north-west since their debut in Chester 8 years ago.
“Our forward-thinking approach and commitment to provide exceptional customer service in friendly, welcoming stores ensure we are the market leaders in our field. We certainly dispel any concerns or stereotypical images the public may have of the adult stores of yesteryear,” comments Richard Allmark, National Retail Manager.
The issues before cybertill was acquired - Keeping track of stock movements between branches - Creating items at each location - Obtaining accurate and timely sales figures - Limited analysis of figures - No progression and updates of existing solution resulting in limited system capabilities. - Huge amount of duplicated stock, often with various names across branches.
How cybertill has helped Nice ‘n’ Naughty The biggest positive difference is the creation of a single database that all stores access. In the past, Nice ‘n’ Naughty had one database per site. This not only required stock items to be entered at each individual branch, but made it impossible for stock levels in other branches to be checked.
The introduction and implementation of cybertill unified Nice ‘n’ Naughty’s systems and created one universal database. The Internal Branch Transfer and customer account functions allow store staff to operate effectively and offer a better level of customer service in terms of finding and obtaining stock.
The comprehensive Purchase Order system allows store managers to generate and book in orders at their stores. The extensive reporting capabilities of the back office, including user defined reports, cater for the most demanding of senior management requests.
Business-driven achievements Having cybertill in place has enabled Nice ‘n’ Naughty to simplify their EPoS processes around a single database and has contributed greatly to the closer monitoring of stock levels, movement and shrinkage within the company.
The other significant development is the enhancement of the company’s website. Far more products are now displayed on the site, and the site links directly with cybertill’s record of stock levels from certain stores. “Having up to date stock levels driven from our store’s actual volume of stock rather than from estimates is extremely useful. This ensures that there are no unhappy customers when it comes to picking, packing and despatching orders.”
Current status and plans for the future with cybertill Currently, cybertill is running across the entire estate of Nice ‘n’ Naughty, encapsulating both the organisation’s in-store and online offerings. Richard is looking to develop use of the product even further by utilising cybertill’s Sage Accounting Integration Module. This will streamline accounts department processes and reduce the time spent manually inputting sales figures into Sage. Additional possibilities include using the SOP module for the wholesale department in the warehouse.
