NEW HISTORIC HOME FOR HI-TECH COMPANY Cybertill relocates to Dovecote Court, Stanley Grange, Knowsley Park
Local technology supplier to the retail sector, Cybertill Group Limited, has announced its move to new premises in Knowsley.
After 6 years in Lakeside Building, Alexandra Park, St Helens, Cybertill has moved to larger and more attractive premises within the Dovecote Court development at Stanley Grange. The company will enjoy approximately 3,000 ft. of open-plan space in contemporary offices created from a range of Victorian farm buildings within the grounds of Knowsley Park.
Lord Derby, owner of Knowsley Park, said: “It is a real pleasure to see our historic buildings being brought to life again as the home for leading-edge businesses. We are delighted to welcome local success stories such as Cybertill to Dovecote Court and we hope that it will flourish in its new environment.”
Existing staff now have access to more space and better facilities. These include room for relaxation in the communal courtyard, at the centre of which sits the dovecot that gives the development its name. The company also gains use of dedicated boardroom and customer demonstration facilities.
Cybertill will now be able to progress an ambitious recruitment programme to fuel its growth. Managing Director, Ian Tomlinson, explains the rationale behind the move to Dovecote Court. “We were looking for an environment that was conducive to creativity and to the innovation that has always been our company’s hallmark.” Continued/..
Increased interest in Cybertill software and the expansion of its user base also influenced the company’s decision to move. More and more retailers are acknowledging multi-channel distribution as the way forward and are looking for software that manages store sales activity as well as ecommerce sites and mail order operations.
“What sets cybertill software apart is the ease with which it enables our customers to run single sales channels or multiple channels as one consolidated operation. You could say that market trends have now caught up with our software,” continues Tomlinson.
With cybertill, retailers access their systems and data via a virtual private network, rather than have them installed inhouse. This approach has made the technology affordable and accessible to smaller retailers as well as providing the capability to run major businesses. Cybertill is used in more than 3,000 retail outlets and powers over 400 ecommerce sites.
Concludes Ian Tomlinson: “Our move to Dovecote Court meets our need for more space and for a setting which inspires our staff and reflects the company that we are today and will be tomorrow.”
