The Client - Peddlers
Established November 1998, Peddlers International developed from an importer of exclusive European cycle goods, to an exporter of a large range of cycle products and accessories on a world-wide scale.
Based in Devises, Wiltshire, Peddlers promotes its bicycles and leisure products from its store and through an interactive website which backs their fresh, innovative and customer focused approach to retail. A great testimony to the quality of Peddlers products is their supply to some of Britain’s most promising triathletes and cyclists.
The Problem
“We had an accounts plus system, and lacked control of what stock was being sold, brought in and tallied with the till at the end of the day”.
Peddlers had an aged system that did not meet their stock control and supply management needs. In Peddlers’ case, this led to several shortcomings:
· They could not access real-time stock management and sales reports
· There was no creation of re-order levels from sales history
· No option of centralized real-time control over multi-branch tills.
The Solution
cybertill’s standard product suite, including an integrated e-commerce web site, was used to provide a solution that overcame the limitations of an accounts system that did not specialize in stock control and management:

Where are we now…
“Currently we are still adding to the website and stock portfolio, but the time it takes to serve customers has already been halved and has also allowed us to give quotes and complete orders faster. If we expand to a second store or larger premises, we know that cybertill can adapt to the situation, allowing a new store to integrate itself very quickly with the products on the system from the other branch. Although we are a cycle shop, cybertill is able to cater for any business which wants an affordable system”.
