When it came to installing store systems to support both UK business and international expansion, Farrow & Ball turned to Cybertill. The search for the right solution
Farrow & Ball is a typical British service industry player with great products and a great brand. Prior to selecting cybertill, it reviewed a number of EPoS systems. The company’s search was for a system that was flexible, easy to install and which gave it real-time visibility of business performance from anywhere in the world.
The cybertill solution
After being awarded the contract to supply EPoS systems to Farrow & Ball, Cybertill worked with the retailer to support the launch of both its UK-based and US-based Showrooms. Once the EPoS infrastructure had been proven in UK Showrooms, the team tackled a phased roll-out programme in major US major cities.
The cybertill solution is provided as a managed ASP service from the supplier’s Glasgow Data Centre. This approach is secure and cost-effective and removes the burden from Farrow & Ball of having to employ staff to manage its EPoS systems.
The system is now in use in Chelsea, Guildford, Harrogate, Edinburgh, Paris, Boston, Greenwich, Chicago, New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Islington, Richmond and Dublin. The US market is responding particularly enthusiastically to the high quality look and feel of its products.
How cybertill helped Farrow & Ball
User feedback from both UK and US stores has been positive. Distance has proved not to be an obstacle, with the retailer recording the system performance enjoyed by the US stores as that received by their UK peers.
