Third Line Web Support Analyst
Duties include:
To assume projects or tasks as directed by the Technical Support Manager
- To liaise with the Retail Assist regarding customer support inquiries (tickets).
- To be the go to person within the Third Line team for web related support tickets.
- To ensure tickets coming to third line have sufficient detail and required third line input.
- To relate directly with customers on known technical issues in order to try to resolve the issue or escalate/report to the Development Department.
- To log, update and close tickets on RSD help-desk system on issues assigned to you.
- Working on solutions to correct customer data problems, either caused during import or afterwards caused by the customer.
- To be able to work within an established team and provide support to other members as and when required, using the required tools and procedures as necessary.
- To be willing to learn new coding/web skills and techniques and use new technology in order to enhance and improve support services supplied by Cybertill to its customers.
- To be willing to pass on specialist web knowledge to team members as part of in house training, and to act as a consultant in your area of expertise.
- To be flexible to work out of hours (as and when required)
- To complete all necessary records on time and to keep all detail up to date.
- To be customer focused in outlook in order to provide excellence in support delivery.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Candidates must have extensive experience of both web design and supporting web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, PHP and SOAP services. Experience of databases and database technologies is also very useful (MySQL).
- Have strong customer service skills and customer empathy.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Good PC skills including experience using Microsoft Office products.
- Computer/Web related degree desirable.
- Formal Web or database qualifications desirable.
Salary: £22,000 per year

Web Developer
To migrate, develop and supply innovative input into the Cybertill web eCommerce system.
Effective as of 6 May 2013
Duties include:
- The developer will be able to implement and migrate our customers websites from our existing system to our new eCommerce platform.
- To ensure all critical issues are relayed to other team members in order to
- facilitate a speedy conclusion.
- Be able to hit the ground running on current migration projects.
- Self-confident and willing to explore and experiment with technologies, methods, processes.
- To report any bugs to the web development team and to follow the progress of
- any resolutions relating to website help desk calls.
- Able to quickly breakdown and understand a client’s requirements
Experience & Skills Required:
- Excellent Knowledge of Javascript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, a Working knowledge with development in Notepad and Notepad ++

Consumable Sales Administrator
To provide a one stop shop for consumable products for new and existing Cybertill customers and to ensure the monthly revenue targets are achieved.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager, suitable person will be required to sell consumable items including till rolls, labels, post code validation software to bar code scanners, replacement Chip & Pin devices, Loyalty Cards and items within the consumables portfolio.
- To promote Cybertill’s ability to personalise retailer’s till rolls, with their logo, communicate terms and conditions, and promote special offers or promotions along with any future developments.
- To ensure that all products sold to existing/new customers are appropriate.
- To process all relevant orders in a timely manner and to liaise with the finance department and suppliers to ensure payment for all orders raised.
- To liaise with the Marketing Manager to ensure all Cybertill customers and kept fully up to date of new products and offerings as appropriate.
- To direct customers to the relevant department within Cybertill for all queries not relating to sales.
- To stay up to date with all Cybertill products and services.
- To make contact with existing Cybertill customers on a regular basis to ensure they are happy with a view to increasing our customer satisfaction level.
- To liaise with suppliers to ensure that correct stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
- To proactively deliver new and improved ways of expanding the consumables portfolio.
The role requires a good understanding of Outlook, Excel and preferably Sage. Good communication skills, personable, very self-motivated and sales focused.
Full time, Part time and Flexible hours are available.
Salary: £16k, OTE 19K

EPoS Trainer
Reporting to the Client Services Director, to provide product training services and programs to customers’ in-store staff and head office managers, to provide technical assistance in formulating product specifications and to provide product manuals to accompany our training services
Major duties and responsibilities:
- To analyse customer training needs and deliver them in accordance with our set delivery remit, producing an end to end training approach across diverse client type and business size
- To write and produce course materials, user manuals and specifications where applicable, and to develop remote learning methods where necessary
- To set up, design and deliver bespoke courses and documentation where an individual client has requested it
- Assessing learner performance and gearing training to maximise individual understanding
- To respond where asked in a timely manner to follow up on customer queries, or meet deadlines for tasks taken on
- To monitor, evaluate and review the quality and effectiveness of training and assess the outcomes of courses delivered
- To feed learner experiences back to software developers, technical authors, project managers and trainers alike
- To liaise with other bodies such as external course providers, employers, clients and examining bodies
- To be responsible for the maintenance of any hardware and software used for training purposes and recommending repairs and upgrades to management where appropriate
- To keep up to date with relevant systems changes, other software and, where appropriate, programming languages
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience and able to demonstrate the delivery of end to end training programs across a diverse client base and business size
- The role requires excellent inter-person presentation skills and the ability to speak to a group or one-to-one
- Candidates should be highly organised, able to forward plan, schedule and meet deadlines and be strongly self–motivated
- Candidates should also have a high standard of personal presentation
- A good level of IT literacy and knowledge is also required as are excellent keyboard skills
- A working knowledge of the EPoS market and an understanding of the retail sector is required
- Ability to work to deadlines and with a high degree of self discipline and self management
- Excellent telephone and written communications
- General working knowledge of Computers and mainstream software is required
- Full driving licence required (max three points)
Work Environment: To be based from office/home but to attend customer’s sites as required throughout the UK and occasionally outside the UK

PHP Developer
We are looking for person passionate about development and new technologies, forward thinking, with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
The software developed is used by over 600+ retailers, so good mathematical skills and problem solving are essential.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Implement new features within the current Cybertill EPOS solution, including automated testing.
- Assist in the Research and Development of the Cybertill solution in conjunction with new and emerging technologies.
Essential skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of OO PHP5, MySQL, Test driven development (TDD) , MVC framework (ideally Symfony), Ajax , Javascript / JQuery
